Obsidian import without workspace access

Obsidian’s official Notion import expects an API token or an HTML export zip from a workspace you control. “Import Notion to Obsidian” from a public link is a different path — vault-shaped markdown without Notion settings.

Paste the published URL. This landing locks Obsidian format: folders, YAML titles, [[wikilinks]] between notes. Unzip into a vault folder and Obsidian indexes it.

Relations between Notion databases will not magically become Obsidian Bases. You get markdown + CSV; rebuilding views is manual — same as most migration guides warn.

How it works

Three steps, no setup

You do not need to install anything, sign up for anything, or know anything about Notion. Here is the whole process.

  1. Step 1

    Paste a Notion link

    Find a public Notion page — a wiki, a handbook, a course, anything where the link opens without asking you to sign in. Copy that link and paste it above.

  2. Step 2

    We gather the pages

    The tool reads the page you pasted. If you asked for pages inside, it follows those links too — nested pages, sub-pages, and database rows.

  3. Step 3

    Download your files

    Every page becomes a markdown file in one zip. Folders follow the Notion tree. Free keeps image URLs from Notion. Plus saves the image files next to the markdown so they still open later.

    Child pages land next to their parent, so a course still looks like a course.

  2. Real tables

    In-page Notion tables become markdown tables, not empty comments.

  3. Databases as CSV

    Each database also ships as a spreadsheet in databases/.

  4. One file with everything

    ALL.md concatenates the site so you can search it, or paste it into a chat.

  5. Stop anytime

    Long wikis can wait. Stop and download whatever is already saved.

  6. Come back later

    Every run has a link. Close the tab and pick up the zip while it is still kept.
